Traditional Chinese Acupuncture
Healing Your Entire Body
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture involves the insertion of extremely tiny needles into strategic spots on the body, known as acupuncture points, to stimulate the body's natural healing capabilities.
During your treatment we will discuss your health history and using tongue and pulse diagnosis we will create an individualized treatment to get your body back into balance.
Moxibustion
Balance Your Energies
Moxibustion is a complimentary modality added to acupuncture treatments when needed. Moxa is preformed by placing a chinese herb (mugwort) on top of needles and burnt or can be waved above acu points. Moxa works to invigorate qi and bring more heat into the body. All you will feel a pleasant warm sensation that tends to linger after your treatment.
Cupping
Relax & Rest
Cupping uses a small flame and glass cup to create a vacuum that is placed on the skin. It works to relieve stagnation, sore and tight muscles and improve blood flow throughout the back. While we don't offer just cupping sessions, Cupping is almost always offered as a complimentary treatment with your acupuncture session!
